INSTRUCTIONS:

You will find the "frequency" of your tracking collar etched on the back panel. It is important to tune your tracking receiver to this frequency when attempting to track this collar. The first three numbers of the frequency found on your tracking collar are changed by quickly and lightly pressing the "red" button (so as to not hold it down which shuts the system off) on your RD-400 tracking receiver antenna box which toggles between 216 217 219 and 220 displayed on the RD-400 LED screen. Then for the second set of 3 digits you press the black button which sets from channel 1 through 16 (look on the decal on the RD-400 receiver black box to determine the appropriate channel)

Your collar is equipped with a tree switch. In order for the tree switch to operate, the antenna needs to be on your dogs right. In other words, if you are looking at your dog’s face, the antenna should be behind your dog’s right ear at your left hand.

To turn your collar on, simply remove the magnet from the rubber holder. To turn it off, just slide the magnet back in and use the rubber holder to keep the magnet securely in place. To achieve maximum battery life out of your collar, keep the magnet in place at all times when not in use.
